Scotts of Southend is well known for it’s events and if their Halloween pumpkin patch is anything to go by, they will be going BIG for Christmas. The Christmas section will be packed full of decorations and gifts and you can attend Christmas events such as breakfast with Santa and Christmas afternoon teas.

Summerhill Garden Centre

Located along the A127 this easily reached garden centre is one of the largest in Essex. They set up their winter wonderland in August and is it definitely not one to be missed. With loads of concessions in store such as food corner and pet corner it’s perfect for the Christmas season.

Meadowcroft Garden Centre in Battlesbridge are hosting their annual German Christmas Market from 28th September. Go along to explore the traditional German market filled with decorations, gifts, crafts, food and mulled wine. Treat yourself to a bratwurst and glass of mulled wine while you browse. They also host live music entertainment sometimes.

Throughout November and December the festivities will amp up with live music including a Michael Buble tribute act and food tasting weekends.
