Top things to do in Brussels

Grand Place

The grand palace was undoubtedly our favourite place to explore in Brussels. The grand buildings take you back in awe as you take it the sights from the whole grand square. In the middle of the palace you will see the cities town hall build in the 15th century and gleaming in gold and awe inspiring architecture.

This is the perfect place to grab a drink or some lunch in one of the many cafe’s overlooking grand place. (Very touristy but worth it for the view).  Atomium

The biggest tourist attractions in Brussels is the Atomium. The Atomium is a atom like shape providing views over Brussels. Take the stair ways to each corner to really take in the beauty. We enjoyed the view from below as we picnic’d on the surrounding grass with the view of the Atomium.  Sablon

Our favourite neighberhood in Brussels by far. These small streets which open up onto a small market square offer something for everyone. Boutique bars and restaurants can be found along with arts and crafts.  Manneken Pis

We visited and although we thought it was a little overrated we enjoyed the neighbourhood surrounding the manneken. Cherry blossom tree’s and fountains surround the street and makes the perfect place to stop for a drink. People watch as everyone tries to get the perfect photo of Manneken Pis.  Royal palace

Another grand sight. The Royal Palace is a sight for architect lovers. The maintained garden’s present a calm environment to view the amazing building.
